20's  fashion trends

1920's fashion trends were all about rebellion. It was the  first time that girls took on a boyish appearance. But the biggest change was the the abandonment of corsets.

It now became acceptable for women to smoke or drink in public area.

A sign of women's liberation came through in the "New look"  championed by the great Coco Chanel. She was the first who employ pants in her designs, cut her hair short and totally reject the corset.

Flapper dresses were all the rage for women in 1920's fashion.
